I have a black car with black leather interior. Everything looks nice and leathery. THe only thing I don't like is the plastic look of the lower center console (the thing that hosts the shifter and e-brake). On collorful cars I've seen it painted various colors, but I've never seen it painted on a black car. I'm considering shooting it eaither Black or Silver to match the shifter, e-brake button and little trim.

What do you guys think?

 

I just painted mine a dark grey right now

It's the best colour for black interior IMHO. I'm in the process of getting rid of all the wood in my interior and bringing it up to date

 

I've seen a car that was done that way and it looked good. My car is a Black on Black car and I decided to go with Arctic Silver and did the upper console trim the same to lighten up the interior. I can't find the pix of it right now but Eric painted my rear main center console piano black on my old black 996TT. Looked really nice too....
