Reason why I ask is, I'd like to get the 997 techart roof spoiler on my 996 turbo if it fits. I like how the edges of the 997 version are sharp and fit the car perfectly as opposed to the 996 version that "bubbles" out on the corners. It just seems to fit better and sits more flush with the roofline. The 996 version doesnt sit right on the car imo.

Here are some examples of the new 997 version, I cant find any good pictures of the 996 version at the moment. Great fitment here..

I must say, the 997 version does look very clean in the links you provided...

Maybe you should contact CEC and see if they can test fit the 997 roof spoiler on a 996 back window.

I think i'm sold on the cf one...
