Any one know if there are any differences in efficiency, build, etc.?????

The cores look identical. The 997 fitting is different so not interchangeable to 996 without considerable adaptation--and I am not sure if it would be possible on OEM to to at all.

You bring up an excellent point, and one that is grossly overlooked.

Most of our competitors are using the 996TT IC's as replacements for the 997TT and the install is a mess.

What we did is when we designed our Intercoolers is we have specific mounting points for both cars! They are truly interchangeable.

This cuts the install time in half and it's a much cleaner install.

The bottome lineis that we did not take any shortcuts.

They are also proven winners on our 750hp 997TT kit. Low IAT's so each acceleration run you make, your power will remain consistant.
