With all the accidents happening I think they are trying to say "Be Safe." Don't take it the wrong way bro. I leave for the rush myself. The car was pretty solid at that speed.

Thanks for understanding. I hear what everyone is saying but honestly I'm not one of those guys. I've been a member here for a long time and I'm a very defensive driver. I understand what I was doing and just don't need the lecture. I appreciate your comments. BTW the car was very stable and had plenty left even at 181 I was on a slight up hill incline and had to brake since I didn't know the roads and I didn't want to be heading over a hill at a crazy speed. I ned to take this car to a runway event or the Texas mile and see what it can do.

Yea, we all do some things we ought not to do...but you were involving a lot of people who not aware of the game. It only takes one unexpected move from those others and your life is changed irrevocably. We need more outlets for this, more texas miles, etc. Look for a track event...and have a blast. Not judging you.

you may have the heart of a race car driver in you and you are not realizing your potential

at Daytona my car gets close to 190 on the front straight before the brake zone at turn one. soooooo you get to "go fast" faster than you really can safely on the street AND right after you hit your fastest speed ever you get to threshold brake, trail brake and make turn one into the infield at Daytona and still be on the track.

look at the Daytona DE schedule usually PBOC or Audi Club or PCA Oct Nov or Dec and come on out and really stretch your cars legs. then people will think and believe you have actual driving talent when you show that speedo and make turn one and not crash.

I will forego the gee that is stupid to do on the street, we all want to, come to a race track believe me you will love it!!

Hey Fastlane,
I'm not feeling this one man. Any of those cars could make a lane change and you would be a goner. Be safer next time.

G, i know you meant no harm by doing this - i have seen the video (heck, i drove the car a few hours after this! haha) but i would guess keep this stuff among friends ---- lots of these guys have SURELY done this once or twice in their time - maybe they are over it or maybe they just post and act like they are - regardless, no matter what peeps will take it the wrong way.

Good move to pull it down - and also GOOOD advice to track that beast....perhaps Thunderbolt or Lightning DE with my PCA chapter?!!?!?! DO IT!!!!!!!!

I don't wanna start board fights but I don't think he really weaved at all. And when he did it was slow turns and didn't look like he was going to to fast. when he did go fast he was pretty much all alone.
Everyones done it at one time.. ya its not super smart for any of us to do that stuff... he was just showin his vid..

Well, I'm from Europe and even if we drive sometimes very fast over here, we do not "cut" the road left and right to other cars.... Anyway I was surprised to see so many SAAB's in the video. Is there a special reason why?

I knew this thread would go this way. Please mail all radar detectors to me.
I am not saying what he did is wrong or right. I think anyone who has owned a sport car is guilty!!
Just my 2 cents.

I will also take some radar detectors as well

also I forgot in my last post - not saying what he did was right or wrong ither. but everyone talks about all the accidents latley. In most all of the cases the drivers were intoxicated as well.
