I tried getting some 997 lobster forks on my car. The front 235's went on fine, no spacers. The rears, Hoosier 315's. even with spacers were no where close to working. I don't know what size the spacers are, possibly 10mm, but I don't think anything else would have worked either. Sorry.

I had a set of 997 widebody wheels, I used 18mm spacers and the wheels fit fine.

So I have been hearing something like that the actual rims will have no problem fitting, but the problem is the factory tires that come with the 997 widebody wheels. I heard that the tires have a different profile and that they are not the right sizing for the 996TT AWD system, something like they will burn out the diff if used without changing to the proper size tire.

Maybe someone could clarify what I just said.

Thanks,
Alex
