I just finished driving on new Michelin Pilot Sport2 tires and was a little surprised with the lack of "hold" I had when pushing the car a little. I have been running Michelin CUP tires and while I do not expect that type of grip, I was expecting more performance. Tires are 315-30-18 rears on 11.5" wheels, and 235-40-18 fronts on 8.5" wheels. Tire pressures are set at Michelin recommendations. Did I make the wrong purchase? Thanks!

 

Try lowering the air pressure.
