Question on A/F ratio
Question on A/F ratio
So, I datalogged my car , after the MAF cleaning, on my way home from work, about 30 minutes worth of driving in stop and go traffic and getting on it on a highway. The afr looks really solid around 14.7, but on several occasions when I look at the log I see it go to 60 or 50 a few times, looking at rpm it might be doring shifts and or decelleration, is this normal?
Your AFR's will go lean when you back off the accelerator...if you're watching your gauge and you hit it hard and go WOT, you should see the AFR's go into the 12-13 range for a bit while at WOT....back off the accelerator, and it goes lean again. I've never seen it go 60....mostly 17-20....but it'll run at 14.5-9 while just cruising or at idle.
