my new k24/18g, 58lb. injectors and EPL tune
my friend has a Ultimate Motor Works clutch and RS lightweight flywheel and i like the way his feels for street use. UMW claims that it will hold up to 650 alll wheel power.
who told you that it is only good for 550-600 ?
he has more than one type. His GT3 can hold probably 550 or so, but his special material clutch can hold much more and easily holds 650 ft-lbs. But it also has a 2000 mile break in.
yup, and the umw stage3 kits are putting down massive torque at low rpms hence the reason for the special clutch with special materials. and you make a good point. kevin states the same thing is what can kill the internals in an engine, torque buildup early.
I know for sure that the clutch that I am talking about can easily handle this dyno and then some, which is my setup with the highest fueling mod possible. Stage 3a. I will never go this high or so I say for now, Not sure if it can handle the 1000+ whp, though. I don't know how those kits build power.

PM Tony, I am sure you will get a core exchange value. this kit looks like it will seriously kick some azz.
if you drive his car, your car will feel like a corolla afterwards and you will have no choice but to do it, so becareful what u ask for
i am in Canton. i would be happy to show it to you and take you for a ride. PM me with your number and we can set it up.
Kevin told me that it only has a 500 mile break in...i hope that all it is because it would take me 2 years to put 2000 miles on it.
yes, the GT3 style clutch is about 500, but the higher hp clutch is 2000 miles...totally different material that needs much more break iin.
It does take 1500-2000 to break in a good clutch. BE PATIENT!!! It will pay dividends.
