Best front chin spoiler for lowered car?

I'm in the process of lowering the car a bit with the PSS9 kit. I'd also like to run a little better looking front chin spoiler. But, my concern is that I'll scrape the crap out of it once the car is lowered. As it is, I scrape the stock piece now and then. But it can be wet sanded and looks as good as new.

Are there any other chin spoilers out there that will dress up the car a little, but won't look like crap a year from now due to scrapes, etc?

Or, here's a novel idea... Maybe I should buy two. And just switch them out after each scrape, and repaint the scraped one? .

My advice from experience, keep the stock one and just sand it down after it looks scraped, most aftermarket ones will be hard and will increase chance of cracking and look horrible, just my opinion and experiences.

That's my best guess too. But, thought I'd throw it out there just in case there's something I'm overlooking...

What can be done with the carbon fiber chin spoilers if you scrape them? Can they be sanded (and still look decent) like the stock chin spoiler?

Not sure about the carbon, I am not a big fan of it when it is added on.

I've seen the EVO unit and it looks really nice. But, I have not yet owned a car with a chin spoiler that didn't get bashed. Hence my apprehension.

Speaking of bashing... I completely bashed the stock chin spoiler on one of those *&^%#! concrete parking stopper thingies - it happened last week in a moment of early alzheimers/brain farting. The thing actually partially detached from the bumper cover. However, I was able to snap it back in place and it shows no sign of wear! An amazing piece, although it looks kinda cheap.

Gamballa?

Racer;
Gemballa makes a front lower lip that fits the C4S and the TT.
The very front of it is actually higher than the stock lip. I used to scrape my C4S all the time, even before I lowered the car, but have only hit the Gemballa once (way under on a concrete parking bumper).
It may not be agressive enough for you, and then there are those pesky aerodynamics issues and all, but I think it looks good.

Chin spoilers are like tires. They have to be thought of as disposable items.

Like the pics. What's the best price, and who has it?

You need to have a supply of them. And if paint is required, an open account with a good paint/body shop

That GEMBALLA chin spoiler looks like it doesnt sacrafice any ground clearance, might be a good choice if you are decided on changing from the OEM one.

Chin spoiler

I saw Sandra Bullock when I visited LA this summer. Her 996 TT had the front lip litterally torn off. What a waste of a perfectly good TT . If you live in the LA area you should probabaly stick to the stock or the EVO MS lip. Just my 2 c.

Speaking of bashing... I completely bashed the stock chin spoiler on one of those *&^%#! concrete parking stopper thingies - it happened last week in a moment of early alzheimers/brain farting. The thing actually partially detached from the bumper cover.
