BlackHorseTurbo does 192.3 at the Texas Mile today

I don't want to steal Joes thunder in his thread. I saw his car. Wow! Today was amazing at the mile. The weather was perfect with the added benefit of a tail wind.

I drove down this morning from the house and arrived with a little too much 93 octane in the tank. I decided to make my first run on low boost. (turned out to be 1.16 bar). To my surprise I ran a 189.3. So I threw in about 4 gallons of ms109. I switched to the hi boost file and ran again. This time hitting 192.3 I didn't adjust the boost level from when it was cooler a couple weeks ago. My high boost is around 1.45 but this second run only recorded a high of 1.35. I know that if had adjusted correctly at 1.45, I would have easliy hit 195+.

Sub-plot. After the road race at TX2K9, I have been noticing a little slipping and noises in the slower speeds. So, today I was very conservative in the
lower gears. I only applied full throttle until 4th gear.

I am amazed at how much faster I went this year than last (170.4) with new turbos and tune.

Speed channel was there and filmed both runs. I hope I make it on the next Supercars Exposed.

Extra stat gathered from the pbox. 11.7, 2.6 60', 131mph in the 1/4.

Justin, you just reminded me, I didn't see any other Htown turbos there today.

No speed limiter after a flash/tune. Whatever MPH at Redline is?
