Frankly the cheapies read/clear the codes just fine. I’d say go Durametric or just get a cheap generic one. The Bluetooth ones are nice once you get them working, and can integrate with lap timer apps.Originally Posted by fdorn

agree. my 50$ actron reader has served me well. it reads the codes as the ecu believes them to be and has yet to be "wrong"...and equally important to many of us, reads "readiness" codes for the bi-annual nightmare prepping for SMOG torture.Originally Posted by jayzbird

plus when i get the occasional BS soft code "psm abs - drive to buggery" i simply clear it and fix whatever whenever necessary.
