What's it cost to change the color of a TT?
to be done right, the car has to be gutted and completely repainted. This is not cheap and you'd better hope the body shop has done our cars before, as taking things apart and reinstalling them requires some skill. doing the earl shives thing and leaving the interior intact is quite ghetto.

Wrap makes sense
Ken,
You may want to go with a vinyl wrap. I think you can get the car wrapped for the $3k to $5k range and it looks pretty close to a paint job if done right. Plus, it won't de-value the car on re-sale.
Dan from vivid had his yellow car wrapped in white for the bullrun and it came out good. I toyed with the idea of wrapping mine in flat black for a while, but never pulled the trigger.

Good luck!

Hey Ken,
This post has a reference for a place in LA called StickerCity.com; says it's around $3-4k. Also, there's a flat black 997 pictured in the thread if anyone's interested. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

Also, for the guys wanting flat cars, I also believe that if you have a black/dark color already, you could always just scuff the clear and shoot a few coats of clear with the flattening agent at it to go flat.
Also, I remember seeing an M3 with flat white pearl on it and it was gorgeous and very unique.....funny thing thiat same M3 had a nice Chrome paint job before.
