yes, it's been RWD since you went for a ride in it. I would never go back.

With my Stage 2 (approx 500-515hp) and RWD I have trouble breaking the tires lose, unless I do a clutch dump of course (which I never do).

Me like RWD.

I got the car back and It's awesome! It feels alive! The power comes on quicker, the steering is more responsive. And it feels and respond like a RWD. This was a great move from my point of view.

Did you have the car re-aligned at the same time? Or are you driving with stock TT alignment settings? Enjoy it!

glad to hear you like it. Did you remove the front diff as well or just the driveshaft?

Everything is out and like BlackHorseTurbo says, I have to learn how to drive it. It's a different car.

Congrats!! I love mine and wouldn't ever go back... The biggest improvement was when I corner balanced it... Night and day at the track! I haven't done a LSD yet but I'd love to drive a car with one installed one day to see how it feels. Maybe I'll bite...

You Need (2) 996 341 131 90 , I can't remember exactly what we paid, but Pelican Parts has them for $45.00 each and the accompanying barrings for clearance., I believe Suncoast was right aroudn there. So for $90.00 if you want to reverse back to AWD you can do it with ease.

We installed a Guard LSD in our car while it was AWD, figure since we went that far might as well go RWD for better weight transfer. Just have to re-corner balance her now.

Guards is pretty expensive but it's the best by far... I ended up doing the Quaife ATB... I have a friend there and got an amazing deal plus it has a lifetime warranty... the Quaife works with gears rather than discs... there is a downside if one rear wheel (RWD) leaves the other wheel becomes inactive but then again it takes a hell of a lot to get your rear wheel off the ground and if your doing that you would want to slow down anyway... lol.... I was a little concerned regarding power levels (would the Quaife diff hold up!)... I was reassured they have been running these in very high HP cars, Vipers etc without any issues.

If it doesn't work out and I feel uncomfortable with it, I will remove, but in my eyes it's worth a try!
