Does anyone besides me realize that with that amount of power (800) you're now officially into Bugatti Veyron Teritory? Our cars weigh substantially less than the Veyron even though it is making another 200 hp.

INSANE but I love it.

ya, actually another Switzer customer with a 997 GT2 P800 car is going to be racing one up by Toledo in the next week or so i heard. That and a Twin Turbo Gallardo.

4460/1001 bhp = 4.455

3380/800 bhp = 4.22

slight advantage to the 996, should be close, but that auto tranny of the veyron will not loose boost between shifts.

Bugatti tops out at 253mph, sometimes it's about gearing as much as it's about power. Combine the two and you get 253mph while still being able to do 0-60 times in the 2.5 second range. I can't wait to hear the results of the Bugatti vs. 997 GT2 P800 keep us posted on that one!
