My New IAGTR
My New IAGTR
Hi all, I've just received my car back from Stephen at Imagine Auto with the 996TT GTR upgrade, and it's simply incredible. The Dyno shows 608 peak rear-wheel hp / 659 peak rear-wheel torque. The power takes your breath away.
Here's a partial list of the mods:
996TT GTR Upgrade, GIAC GT Software Upgrade; Garret Turbos; Stainless Steel Headers; 5 bar Fuel Pressure Regulator; Stage IV GT IBE Switcher, Techart Race Exhaust, 996TT/GT2 Sport LW Pressure Plate, Dual Material 240mm Disc, 996TT 40% increased flow Carbon Fiber Intakes, Upgraded Boost Hoses, PSS9 996TT Bilstein PSS9 Suspension Kit, TechArt Front and Sideskirts, GT2 Tail.
What's it like to drive over 650 ft-lb of torque at the rear wheels ? First gear is almost over before it begins, wheel spin through second and third, and a nice chirp into 4th. The pull feels as strong through third gear as first gear used to be. There's a weightlessness and refinement to the power; truly a masterpiece. Hats off to you Stephen, you have created a monster!
Sincerely,
Paul

That is definitely race gas. I believe you should also be looking at rods if you intend to start making real use of that power.
It will be far cheaper in the long run.

The kit Paul had installed on his car is a little over 19K for the base then some added goodies.
I think rods will be addressed in time. As it stands it has 4K miles on it.
The program we ran was 100 octane.
