Cosmetic mod around 996TT headlights...

I saw some pictures on line of a cosmetic mod to the 996 TT front headlamps. Couldn't tell if it was vinyl covered or paint... it did look better than the "fried egg" appearance of the stock front.

Anyone done this and if so how. Thanks!

i think you can either directly paint your headlights or you can buy TechArt headlight covers

imo they are just plain ugly though

the covers are ugly. don't do it.

jcb-memphis has a reputation beyond repute

The covers are 400+ dollars too. I actually like them in pictures, but in person I suspect they look too "added"....the idea of a custom vinyl job (dark car) appeals to me....
