I picked one up about four months ago. You will enjoy it. Completely different car from the 996tt. I love the way it starts along with the sound when it starts.

 

The market really sucks, example: They had a customer buy one in Feb and he came back last week to trade for a Ferrari. This guy paid 250K and they offered him 140K in trade in value.

Thats is the only reason I am working out a deal on a used one. 250K is out of my financial league for a car.

Just look at the market, it will probobly be just as expensive to buy a slightly used Vanquish, as a brand new DB9... and Vanq is obviously a much nicer car...

I was lucky enough to have been driven around in one... its an awesome car, you will enjoy it..

 

Now I really know you are crazy. What color is it?

 

Other than wheels and tinting.. I would keep it relativley stock...

The car is Blk/Blk. I will change the Wheels and thats it. NO MODDING!!!!! Well, maybe an exhaust......

 

I was going to say, you know there are exhausts/headers for it already (oh oh!). Other than that, you can't really do too much to those... What you see is what you get. It might not be in the same league in terms of performance and handling but it's no doubt a beautifully crafted and engineered GT. The best there is.... I'm English so I would say that

I know I will miss out on the performance of the turbo, but hell its a vanquish.

While everyone is hauling ***, I will be at the tail end of the pack sipping on tea and speaking to "M" too see if he can add some new toys. Maybe the passenger side ejection seat or headlight machine guns.

 

Exactly man! You'll be doing it gracefully too. It's the sexiest car on wheels... Nicht shiszen!!!!

PS Everyone does HREs on those so do something different Oh one other upgrade you can/should do I hear is the brakes. The car is pretty heavy and the brakes get overwhelmed. Nothing a set of brembos couldn't fix...
