I black chromed my porsche lugs too, and they came out looking very nice. However you have to be very careful with them as a lug wrench can easily strip or damage the black chrome coating. I'd be interested in a black finish that holds up to abuse a bit better...

Ironic. I was going to start a thread today asking if anyone knew where I could get black wheel lugs for my 996TT, and then I see this.

I currently have Fikse Profil 13 wheels, and would like to get a set of black wheel lugs that would work with my fitment. I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that the standards lugs in use are simply OEM Porsche. Please let me know if these would work for me, and when they would be available. Thanks!

Here are some more pics. Gonna install them on my 997TT with Black HRE P43. I think I am going to request them to be more glossy black. These are flat black. The coating is super strong. I took my house key and scraped them, nothing came off, just left some of the key metal on the lug, so no worries of flaking. I took some pics side by side with a stock lug so you could see the length from the ball seat part. So to answer Al Norton question, yes these are an exact copy of the Porsche lug. I even test fitted it in a stock turbo twist wheel and took a picture. I made sure the lug sat in properly. The length of these is about 39mm so longer then the stock studs. Anyways more pics and info coming soon.

What would you pay for a set of 20???

Dan,

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me but your lug bolts appear to be one-piece whereas the Porsche lug bolt is two-piece. Are yours one-piece or two-piece?

Will the factory washers fit onto the bolts? Great product but I think there is a good reason Porsche uses the two piece bolts.

The floating washer configuration that Porsche (and others) employs provides more accurate torque values by allowing the bolt head to spin with minimal binding.

Uhhh, they already are. And with the proper floating washer configuration.

Doesn't anyone read?

No they're not. They are a legit OEM-quality black wheel bolt replacement. I had them, and 996TT_STEVO is running them as well. Don't want to rain on anyones parade, just stating that these have been available for a long time already.

I clicked the link and did not see what you are talking about. Please post the picture of the bolts you are referring to.
