I just wished he'd post pics of the RUF 590 cab and SLR he recently bought or didn't buy or whatever....pics would be nice.

 

Can you prove he is a liar? That is a very harsh thing to say about someone on a public forum, especially when it comes from a mod. I'm not taking sides, just curious if you can prove it or is it your feeling.

Yeah WTF!?! Members get **** from the mods when they post something that is a little off color or crude, and openly calling someone a liar is fine, can you say double standards?

 

Where and who called someone a liar. I said if he wants to lie, he can do so if he wants...I really don't care. All I asked for was pics of the cars that he stated he bought. I just love to see pics. So before you "WTF" and jump to conclusions read at face value, rather than assume.

you should also keep in mind that although moderators tend to remain neutral on 99% of the subjects addressed in this forum, they're still people with opinions too. It's not like this forum is owned by a company or a physical political entity... or anything else that would be liable for stating opinions or facts. We're all just a bunch of guys (and girls) supporting and fueling each other's desires and passion of porsche and all things exotic in the automotive realm.

this isn't necessarily childish or high school level trash talk... sometimes people need to be called out on stuff, although it wouldnt hurt to let things lie (no pun intended).

Hey guy's I'm not saying Andrew owned them or didn't own them. Frankly I really don't care. For God's sakes, my guess is the bank own's a majority of the car's we see on this board anyway. How many of us paid cash for our car's? How does it affect our lives if anyone own's a particular car or not? Is anyone trying to say the car makes the person?

This whole discussion reminds me of the times I go to the track/strip. Up to the run, certain cars have a certain time. After the run, most but not all of the time, there is a reason why certain cars are not doing as well as they should have or claimed to have in the past. You might just say there was a little embellishment, or maybe there really was something wrong.

Did it really make any difference to me ............. no. Did I think any different of these people for this particular type of incident .......... no. In most cases what was said did not affect me. I just smile to myself and continue to have a good time with everyone.

Another example is a poorly dressed individual who walks into an exotic car dealership and the salesperson ignores. Sometimes this individual can buy the exotic for cash.

I guess the point is, I wouldn't judge anyone over one issue, especially the issue being what he owe's or doesn't own. If he owe's it that is very nice. If he doesn't own it and it doesn't affect you, why should you care. Does it make you any better of a person by popping someone else's dream?
