I'm in Chicago too, but don't have a p-car... just happen to know the shankster.
There's a show called "Gearfest 5" going on Saturday. Nothing big, but the weather looks like it'll be nice so I'm planning to just go to enjoy the day. There will be a number of other nice cars there as well, BMW, Lexus, etc.
Here is the flyer from another board. I didn't make this flyer and have nothing to do with the event... I'll just be attending.

-9:00AM til 9:00PM- Sell & Swap- Vendors Welcome! vendor fee- $10.00
-10:00AM til 4:00PM- Show n Shine- $5.00 registration
multiple classes, trophies, door prizes, free samples, 50/50 raffles*
-4:00PM til 6:00PM- Stereo Sound Off- tentative- $5.00 registration
-possibly a caravan cruise at some point(TBD)
***note- at our host's request, ABSOLUTELY NO BURNOUTS!***

This sounds great. Shank, that parking lot idea or Fuddruckers would both be fine with me. Let's set a definate time and I'll be there. Maybe we should do it on the weekend so Buddyg and any other out of towner can also attend. Let me know, Shank, it sounds like you have some good ideas. If you guys want to meet in Chicago, I can arrange a place, but, I would think we would want to do that more as a social gathering, drinks etc then checking out cars. To much congestion, traffic lights, people, police etc. Let me know what you guys think.
