New 996TT owner, jeah!
Well I have finally completed the purchase of a 2001 996 TT Seal Grey 6 speed. I actually have been working on the purchase of the car for about 3 weeks now, and have discussed the vehicle in a few other threads, but the sale was delayed a couple times, once for repair needs, and once due to scheduling.
Some info about the car, it has 55k miles on the clock, condition of the car is not perfect, but all defects are minor except for one Front bumper rock chips, couple squeaks , and maybe a engine problem to deal with but nothing keeping it off the road. Interior is also in great but not perfect condition.
Car has a very nice mod list:
JIC 8/12 Coilovers; JIC front and rear sway bar links; OEM K24’s; Sach’s racing clutch, LTW flywheel; Europipe exhaust with GT2 tips; EPL tune; EVO 1 bar waste gates; 5 bar FPR; Forge DV’s; Short shifter kit; Custom stereo with 5.1 sound and flip up touch screen NAV/DVD/etc.; 35% tint; Smoked side markers; Silver hood crest; GMG spoiler; 18” Rook Racing wheels.
Obviously this car has more miles on it than a good number of 6TTs that one can find these days, especially in the price range I paid. I chose it for the following reasons.
First, the mod list, pretty much every mod on the car is one that I would want to do myself but probably not end up doing because of costs (the stereo for instance).
I also chose this car over say one with 30k miles and a few less $ is the location of the seller relative to me. The car is virtually local to me. Seller has made himself available for feedback and offered advice/input on the car at its current state, as well as offered to be a resource for future questions/concerns if possible. That is a huge plus. Even more so, I was able to have my shop perform the PPI, another huge plus.
Previous said car is making close to 500 WHP with that mod list on pump, does that sound reasonable to you guys?
Finally thanks a lot to all the people here who helped me along the way in my search, it is much appreciated!: )

PS Here is a pic, note car is dirty and my buddy was messing around with his camera settings so lighting/exposure/camera guru junk is all weird...and wow thats big, I made it a clicker instead.

Thanks everyone: )
Hi Adam, can you elaborate on what HDR is for me?
Anyone have some feedback on those power claims, I'll be putting it on a dyno soon enough, but for now confirmation from 6speed members will have to do: )

Thanks again everyone, just gave it first wash under my care, always fun but frustrating as you go through the little details on the exterior and find defects you didn't notice originally. Obviously I found a few, but not as many as I thought there would be.
This thing is a monster, I need to learn to keep the RPMs reasonable, went through 1/2 a tank of gas giving family members rides yesterday, crazy and fun!
