Sensitivity Adjust for interior gauge lights?

Hi all,

Just aquired a 03' 996TT and I'm having issues with the interior gauge lights not comming on when it's dark. I know in the manual it states that the lights will automatically come on when the sensor on the tach thinks it's dark enough, but even if it's pitch black sometimes it will take up to 10-15 minutes before the interior gauges come on. This is at night, while the headlights are already on. Is there any way I can adjust the sensitivity so they come on earlier?

Any other troubleshooting ideas?

I really appreciate the help,

Matt
