ATS Carbonetics triple disk clutch

Fellow 6speeders. Need some input. Just installed a triple Carbonetics carbon clutch. Needs 300 mile initial break in and subsequent 800 mile to fully seat the clutch. The clutch is very sensitive. The biting point is very unforgiving. Dealer tells me that after break in the biting point will grow and drivability will be good. Has anyone installed this cluthc and can give me some input into its final drivability? Is this break in characteristic normal? Is there a good way to drive this clutch during break in? Any input would be gratefully recepted. Thanks.

I have it. Do a lot of stop and go driving, 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear.

This clutch will never be as dd able as an organic, but organics don't hold power worth a damn. The first 1K is rough but you will get more used to it over time.

You need this clutch for any car over 550 whp unless you like a clucth swap every 8K miles.

The Docs got sound advice. I've got the same clutch and it was a little tricky at first. Practice makes perfect. Some guys have gone to the GT2 style clutch. This is supposed to help the engagement feel of the clutch. Just keep practicing, you'll be fine.

Thanks to all who have replied. I will take my medicine and arduously go through my 1000mile break in. Actually, I am having my brother do the break in until the clutch loosens up since he recommended it and did the work.
