I was actually serious about this question (until someone calls me a smartass, which I'm most of the time). If it's legal and safe to cover the lights with clearbra, why not the windshield too?

The windshield gets way too many dings, much more than my hood does.

the film over glass will give u a ripple distortion. plus i doubt the wiper will work properly over the film.
