The latest clutch on the market arrived at my doorstep this weekend. Happy Father's day indeed! CM has a great reputation for making streetable setups that can handle a lot of abuse so I had no reservations about trying out their newest clutch. It has twin 8.5 inch discs with two different options of friction material. This one has a "street" friction compound. This combo is really light! My cheapo garage scale weighs the entire clutch/Flywheel/release bearing setup at 24 lbs (the stock flywheel alone is 40 lbs). Supposedly it does not have the typical noise that is associated with LWFW setups. And finally, it can handle almost 900 TQ-HP.






The plan is to install it on 4th of July weekend and take some installation pics. I will post a write up with impressions. Thanks again Dan for shipping it so quickly.

Why do you need this clutch? Did you ever get around to installing one of the 17 turbo kits in your garage?
