very nice subtle mod. i love the black accents on a silver car, matches great like the black rims and even black exhaust techart exhaust tips would match too IMO.
i did the same thing with my C32 taillights, just the white part not the red part and used some spray and then clearcoat. however, i am going to undo it and then get the stuff that acutally works, cause for me, after a few weeks, it came out all splotchy despite the clearcoat...

Rustang and Vette , etc. guys have done this for years - their vendors all sell translucent black -out spray paint. The more coats the darker and more illegal .

DRY CARBON is where itz at! Trying to get pieces in dry carbon is quite hard, however...
