I didnt read anything about an intercooler on that mustang maybe I missed it. If there was no intercooler the meth will do more for the mustang because it is cooling were the racegas is just adding octane.

Hey Joe. You must mean immediately 'after' the turbine.

You wouldn't want them after the turbine because then you would be shooting water/meth in the exhaust(I know what you mean).I should have said before the intercoolers. Thanks Mike.

Another source for W/M kits is Snow performance.

I have heard of people having issues with the Snow kit.
Maybe they have straightened it out since.

I would stick with the Aquamist kit for it's high quality and fail-safe features, even though it is a bit more expensive.

?? If the mustang had an intercooler then on race gas it would have made more power then on meth hands down. But since the blower was pumping in hot air, race gas only makes it safer were meth is cooling the boost like an intercooler. Cooler air prevents detonation, thats why people use water injection insted of intercoolers on some cars. Saying meth is = to anything above 104 octain is stupid. I will say it is way better then 93 but in no were near 104+ gas. You cant run a c16 tune on meth injection unless you want your **** to blow up.

I think I have to agree. It is close, but not the same. Hopefully we will see soon. We plan to do this to my car with NO other changes, other than race gas tune with NO meth.

The true test is to do several runs and see which setup can handle the heat soak better and thus, produce sustained power. Since I run VP MS 109 exclusively I would like to match up with someone with similar mods running H2O and Meth.

I once asked my tuner about the water/meth kit. He was concerned rhere is to much risk with Meth and water injection. If you run out of water or get a clogged jet, you are screwed because your programming required the mixture.

Otherwise, I have seen the significant drop in IAT on some cars that are just so appealing.
