For those who wanted the Techart GT street decklid

Well it seems it is now available on ebay, certainly is a cheap copy but i guess with some work it could look as good as the real one for 1/3 of the price. Now what are the good companies like misha, mashaw, getty and precision waiting for

I don't know if we are allowed to put ebay links, if not, just delete my post

i bought my GT2 decklid too quick...

The ad says that the fitment is "perfect," so it must be. Someone try it out and verify that for me.

I have always loved that wing/lid. But for $2080 delivered with a carbon wing blade, I wonder how good a deal this actually is. If there is 1500 in prep work to make it look good ect. These kind of bargains quickly turn expensive.

Nice find! If you look closely at the pictures, the top of the CF side plates seem to have some primer on it. Maybe it's just the picture quality but the biggest concern with these (besides fitment) are waves in the fiberglass. If the decklid is wavy, it'll cost a lot to perfect it.

they are missing the most important angle... from the front. I would be curious to know if the base has the intake vents like the original.

Hmm, I'm currently staying in Taiwan for the next couple of months, if there is enough interest and the seller isn't far I can go check it out and see if they will let me take more detailed pictures.

I am wondering, for real Techart, is the black lip at the back of the wing carbon fibre?

Lets make a deal guys.

I will buy this wing. All those interested pitch in $100. I will take care of all $$$ associated to modding/fitment. Its certainly cheaper than to buy it yourself and finding out the hardway.

I will be the guinea pig, just need to get paid to do so...
