Oh BOY!!! wow Me personally i love my K24/20 they pull longer then the 18's and smoother power they still hit hard but they are smoother, I think at least, Remember Bobby went 9.90 with K24/20's and 142+mph on a Protomotive tune.

I have a set of 24's for sale if your interested... I'm upgrading to the big boy league.. LOL

Way to go Corey, when those this project start? Don't forget that Bobby is hell of a driver, his shifts are second to none, as much as I've heard about him from VR.

One thing to remember about Bobby's pass is that it was done on an INSANE amount of boost and that the car was on a bigger drag radial with some other things done to it to help it out in the 1/4. Your normal K24/20 car will not run that good.

I don't doubt they can. I do know if I was at the boost Bobby was running on my 3076/K24 Hybrids I could go close to ~145mph in the right weather. That's full weight with AWD. Granted I would need a taller tire and a good launch, but I know its obtainable. I did hear that a certain Bobby went a even faster mph with his new setup in his GT2. My best pass (the 109 in the 1/8th and the 137mph (Needed bigger tires)) was only on 22psi. I turned it up to 24psi for my last pass but missed second and coasted for about 30-40 ft and rolled back into the throttle and still went 131mph in the 1/4.

I still stand behind the 3071/3076's as long as you know when to stop on your stock motor. If you are dead set on never building your motor, then I'd go with K24/18s honestly.

So you wouldn't go with the 24/20's on a stock motor?

The 24/20's are a good choice if that is what your tuner recommends. Honestly when it all comes down to it, it's best to pick a tuner and then go from there. Talk with them and tell them what you want to do with your car, etc. They will lead you the right way. I'd talk to Tony @ EPL, Todd @ Proto, EVOMS, etc. and get a feel on who you like the most and who has a solution that's best for you.

No brainer, send the 24's to Dan at Vivid for an 18g makeover.

I know that Alpha 28's perform comarably to the 18G's, but spool quicker. You already have the K24's so it's a no brainer to upgrade them for $1200-$1500, instead of $5-$6k for new turbos.
