My modded TT X50 never had any problems other than popping out of second which started at delivery and was before mdding anyhow....tanny replaced under warranty and no problems since

I would say yes - a ruf car is worth the money
i would not hesitate to buy a ruf car

There are RUF customers on this board who have had issues that required a tech to fly over from Germany and check things out.

Whether or not those problems were resolved, i dont know.

Im sure service is the same with GIAC, Protomotive, etc..... If there is an issue, those vendors will check it out and do what they can to resolve the problem.

Any time you modify a car, you take a risk...whether you decide to spent 25K or 500.00.

With that said...I've been lucky thus far with no issues (knock on wood)...27K on the clock (23K modified) and not one damn problem!

Heavily modded here.
My 5th Porsche & found the Turbo is a great car to mod.....incredibly dependable....even when tracked & driven daily.

Research your mods......yes, factor in 'some' risk.

i have 2 frindes who have a 550 and 590 ruf they are uesing there car for a daily base for the last 2 years the first is 25,000 secand one is 15,000 miles no problem what so ever my self have a ruf 550 on a X50 10,000 miles so far so good
