I think that means something is open when it beeps. I don't think the alarm beeps unless something is ajar such as the doors, trunk lid, glove box, or console compartment... Check to be sure those are all shut well and it should just flash the lights without and beep on lock or unlock.

Agree, it beeps when something is not shut properly, but I think if you press the lock button twice quickly and hold it will beep and disable the interior motion sensor (something like that anyway).

Alarm

Most of the time when the alarm beeps once when you lock it then something is open (center console, glove box, either door, or the armrest cover), but when it beeps twice about 5-10seconds after you lock it, the alarm sensor in the center dome lamp area is defective.

Where in California are you located, because if it is close to the bay area I can help you out possibly at my shop.

Alarm

I am a short drive away(a little under an hour)to walnut creek, ca, if you would like to have me take a look at it. My email is white46cobra@hotmail.com if you would like to email me as well. I dont usually stock something like an alarm sensor but I can have one for you if needed.
