Question Air Leak Near Oil Filter

I've got a boost leak which I'm trying to track down

it doesn't seem to be the DVs but you never know

my hearing isn't great but it might be coming from between the oil filter and the TB
Anyone know what to check?

Also, I've found a leak at the intercooler

It's where the core meets the black plastic bit at the top - the bit before it connects to the hose
Does that make sense?

Can this be sealed or do I need a new IC?

So there is the aluminum core, then the black plastic end tanks, then the hose.... are you saying between the aluminum core and the black end tanks? If yes, then AFAIK thiis is not really 'serviceable'. I am sure they can be 'screwed with', but the overwhelming opinion will be "UPGRADE".

Yep, between the end tank and the core

I'm guessing now's the time to upgrade as you suggested

the thing I'm thinking is haven't the upgraded intercoolers got different sized ends?

Just want to make sure I don't buy some now only to have to replace them gain in the future

Can't hear the leak around the hose joint

it's only when I stick my head next to the core I hear the leak

r34dy2walk is infamous around these parts
I would try to spray some soapy water around the affected area if you got your air compressor hooked up. You'll be able to visually see where the leak is coming from.

From my understanding, most IC will directly bolt on to your old mounts. The hoses should be the same size as well.
