That's phenominal Mike!! I bet that was one hell of a ride. That will make the TX mile seem boring!!

Vince, Maybe you should tell everyone about your 204 mph run in your 996tt last week:eek:. That too with your girlfriend in your car....

when you get your car back , lets put my go pro camera and do some vid runs for everyone of the 60-130's , the cam might fall off in your 200 mph runs..

somewhere? :)

jags911tt Aug 3, 2009 07:42 PM

So did you blow the hose or the head?

art4iza Aug 3, 2009 10:17 PM

I say it's most likely the hose.....hope it's an easy fix anyway

jags911tt Aug 3, 2009 10:44 PM

I think he blew the head. Ask me how I know. The exact same thing happened to me last week. My shop calls today and tells me the HG shifted. ****!!!! Im going over there tommorrow to check it. I have a 3.8l built motor too, running 1.6bar on 110 octane - Ive had enough of modding!

Ugh, I have no financial ties and even my wallet jumped out of my pocket and quickly hid! Good Luck Jags, keep us updated, hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds.

art4iza Aug 4, 2009 08:17 AM

Sorry to hear. Built motor do you mean you have O-ringed heads plus flame rings and modified gaskets?

Jag's, sorry to hear about your misfortune... In Vince's case, I completely disagree that he is having a head gasket issue.

007-911 Aug 4, 2009 10:18 AM

I dont think its a head gasket either. That was the first thing I did, I drained the oil, No coolant was mixed in with the oil. Also the coolant pours out as soon as you pour it in the coolant meaning that its not even getting to the water pump or engine. I hope its just a hose on the rear. They will have the engine pulled out this afternoon so I will hopefully get all the details... I have my fingers crossed its something not too expensive because I have a ton of other bills. When it rains it pours!
