Ferrari vs. Porsche
Guys, thanks for turning the table. If you continued to **** on my place I'd probably get fired, lol. Really though, we are a solid place. I enjoy working here because we are a very ethical team. As for the 996 debate, 993 feel raw. The 996 feels softer in and out. I just hate the really high engagement point with the clutch.

Some cars are very sensitive to tow on the rear. If one side is more than the other, then power on or off will steer the car.
What happens if I let go of the steering wheel and everyone one of my vehicles go RIGHT instead of LEFT at 70MPH+? What does that mean? It doesn't mean that all owners of my vehicles experience this regardless of whichever mechanic says that they all inherently do.
Life Dies, I know that you're just sharing your experience on the 360 though why don't you bring it up on Ferrarichat and see how they respond? I'm almost certain you'll get similar responses saying that "mine doesn't do that" and that "it's not normal." You won't be able to convince them otherwise, and one cannot conclude in any uncertain terms that all 360s do this, let alone to what extent. Like I said previously, too many dynamic and static variables to consider.

I did it over and over again. When I wasn't driving I told him to take his hands off the wheel and gas it and the car pivoted left. I was just posting my experiences and certainly don't see how this is senseless. He tells me its normal. He's driven a lot of Ferraris too so I dont know whats up. Sorry for the unlessness.
I wouldn't label this thread "senseless," just overdrawn with no conclusive evidence that all 360s do this. You're speaking of ONE particular used vehicle and one mechanic's own limited experience and exposure. Only if scientific studies and conclusions were so easy to prove in real life? There wouldn't be nearly as many facts left uncovered and many religions would just disappear....................
Btw, could this have been a nervous twitch (left justified) or preconceived expectation when you're driving that 360? How much do you weigh? j/k

I'm in now way discrediting this mechanic. I don't even know him, only a 3rd person perspective of his opinion. Still, according to Life Dies, they don't just sell Ferraris at his shop so I doubt he's an exclusive Ferrari mechanic day in day out. He couldn't possibly represent all "Ferrari mechanics" in one fell swoop.
Even if he was, it's still only ONE mechanic's experience and exposure. Postulate: If ALL Ferrari 360s do this regardless of year, then just one 360 that doesn't do this (even if it's just perception) negates this postulate.
Hey Life Dies, I believe you with or without the video on this particular 360. There was never a question on your actual experience from me.
