Now, let's get the story straight, was it Steve or Benhilarious

We were supposed to get the aluminum back from the fabricator today but he needed more time to make it perfect. Looks like it's gonna be Monday or Tuesday at the soonest before we put her on the dyno again. IN the mean time, steve relocated the EBC to the 'batwing" area and ran the fuel pump lines.

BlackHorseTurbo 08-22-2009 06:40 AM

The intake piping splitter came back from the fabricator this afternoon. Steve should have the motor back in tomorrow afternoon. We may even get to dyno tomorrow.

Updated just in time...saved me a text...hilarious

Update!

He really does Art. Steve is very detailed. The pipes have been fitted and the aluminum fab is complete. We added the 90 degree fitting for the vent (black) tube. Should be on the dyno tomorrow. See pics.

With the engine out, you can see how the pipes work their way down to the turbos.

Very tight through here but enough clearance as to not rub.

A good shot of the plenum installed.

Call me "Capt. Obvious" but double check clearances when engine is back in and car is on the floor. Things tend to move and grow...

BlackHorseTurbo 08-25-2009 07:17 PM

You're right. We've had the engine in and out 4 times and put her on the floor.

Cant wait to see the final dealio in the next day or so!
