EBC and Factory Solenoid

So I am getting ready to pressure test tonight to look for what I think is a boost leak. I was looking around for any obvious disconnections or a tear in the f-hose. I noticed that the factory boost solenoid had no cap on the hose barb.

So my question is, when using a EBC (greddy in this case) should the factory solenoid be open or capped?

Thanks, Tom
