Noise from the shifter

When I shift into 1st, 3rd and 5th I hear a click like noise come from the shifter.
I was thinking something might need to be tightened under the leather boot.
How do I move the leather boot area so I can check the shifter under it?
Thank you

Not sure which shift **** you have, but the Porsche shift ***** and leather boot are connected. Just remove the shift ****. Also depending on the **** there may or may not be a set screw. It takes some force, but when it goes it goes (watch your head).
