Carrara White(Porsche) and Candy White(VW) the same code?

Carrara White(Porsche) and Candy White(VW) the same code?
Is it true that Carrara White OEM Porsche paint is identical to the Candy White OEM Volkswagen paint? The new R32 comes in Candy white, but its a very bright white. Anyone know is its the same? A friend of mine who works at a paint shop says they are the same too.
