Unhappy Check Engine Light Again

I got the dreaded check engine light illumination again. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts about the cause.

I was driving during a cool evening found a deserted road section and decided to really put my boot into it. The car started to jump forward in good ol' turbo fashion and then went into palsey with shudders and judders, it just went to mush. The check engine light turned on and it hasn't corrected off. No real driving issues since.

So, is it the plugs I've been reading about mine have never been changed. Or is it the intake/vacuum leaks that have plagued me before.

FWIW I've had the Forged Diverter Valves in my car for more than a year now. On two seperate occaisions the car has been at the local dealers with vacuum/boost hose leak issues. So I'm thinking that this could be happening again?

I'd bet on plugs -- have the CEL code read -- probably a misfire or misfires.

Indeed they do. Small top hose came off one of the DV's causing a light. Error code pointed to the problem. Replaced hose and clamped it. No more light.
