20K Miles and Plugs are Still A OK

20K Miles and Plugs are Still A OK
So my engine was out of my car while at the dealer last week so I asked them to change the plugs...
Well when I picked it up today they said they looked like the day they went in and that I should save my money!! Said to do them at the 30K service!!!
Whats with all this talk of every 10K miles?? They said as long as you drive the car (which I do everyday) plugs are good till 30K.

Even, must be the way the car is tuned,just like factory. 30k maintenance as Porsche recomends. I've seen them come out at 30k on car that has not been modified and plugs still look good, but of course we still replaced them. If car is running rich they we need replacing sooner, naturaly. Glad to hear that your road noise is gone, car must be a real pleasure to drive again
