after reading all these posts, it looks like meth is an inexpensive way to increase hp/tq. besides bbi, has any other shop done a meth install on a 996?

Reading other forums, for a hundred more dollars, it looks like the aquamist system is the way to go.

also, anyone know a cheap source for meth in LA? Due to the hot weather, it doesnt look like we can get the -40 degree windshield washer fluid at walmart.

 

3 cases at a time .. Sometimes they have coupons, and various other discounts, I received a coupon for 15% off in the box with my first order.

Always came quickly (I live in OC). Maybe not the cheapest but reasonble, and very convienent.

thanks JS. so if I do the math, 4 gallons of 50/50 mix, is 2 gallons of meth for $30, so $15 a gallon?

There is a local race shop in torrance (hot rod performance) that sells 100% meth out of a drum for $6 a gallon.

I was just wondering if anyone found anything cheaper than $6/gallon.

Js- where did you get your unit installed? which meth setup are you running? who did your tune?

 

If you can find it for $6 gallon, that sounds like a great deal. I thought most were paying closer to $10 gallon, but I could be wrong.

Just depends if you can find a good source locally, picking up some distilled water and mixing it yourself @ a little of $6 gallon would be real cheap.
