How to clear CEL after MaF replacement?

Once I replace my MAF can I just drive to autozone or kragen and have them reset my CEL or do I have to buy a Porsche specific tool? Unplugging battery amd replugging it after a couple hours won't do the trick either?

What it takes to clear a CEL depends on the CEL. Some codes will clear with a soft reset (just cycling the ignition multiple times, some will clear with a battery reset, some need a Porsche specific code reader (air bag for example). If the CEL was truly just MAF related and you have remedied the problem, I believe a battery reset or a generic code reader will do the trick.

r34dy2walk is infamous around these parts
Just go to an autozone and have them read the code. If it is indeed just for your MAF, have them reset it for you or just borrow a OBDII reader from a buddy.
