RS wing on 996 Turbo?
SubscribeI've seen this done before, but does anyone know who actually makes these?
any pics?
IMO a 997 GT3 wing (non RS) would look hawt on a TT. Not sure if anyone makes it though since int's a different decklid.
I WILL have this wing. If anyone has any leads let me know. I'll be your best friend forever

Try hitting edwin @ Precision Porsche. i bet they can custom it for ya cheap.
That's what I want. 997 Gt3 wing on a 996 Turbo. Emailed him. Will keep you posted

I agree that it could be a great combination...hope it works out for you!

I was determined to do this not too long ago, but now I'm hooked on the big boy wings.
I put canards on my front and a 996 GT3RSR wing on the back. I purchased my used from a 6speed member who said it was custom.... I saw another advertised for sale on ebay..same cutouts, and such. I suspect his source took his idea and ran with it a bit a few years ago. I have no idea.
The decklid was chopped..fiberglass modded, and painted for this. There was clearly some very good work done on an OEM unit.
The uprights clearly were handmade...sort of campy..
I actually like it. See what Lambo charges for the same campy look.
It requires a customized decklid, and a gt2 wiring harness...I got my harness from MA shaw...and had to reconfigure (splice) it to make the fan blow air "into" the engine compartment.
See the many threads on the subject.
At 150mph, no lift in front btw. On track of course.

i've got the mashaw gt wing/decklid combo uninstalled at the moment. the turbo version decklid is different to the RS but the RS wing/stays are the same. Can't see from pics above but the turbo decklid has extra scoop inlets just behind the wingstay
