Hello all,
Long time lurker and finally a registered user
I have a question regardin repairing the wood interior of my 996TT
I love the appearance eventhough it is not that popular with my fellow Porsche lovers.
Lately some of the pieces have started to de-laminate and one piece by the driver side door cracked.
I asked one dealer who gave me very little help.
I have also called several places to no avail.
Any idea where I can locate anyone who can help me repair or replace the respective parts?
I live in southern california if that helps.
I appreciate any help.
Thank you.

I don't know if the wood in the 911s are real or not, if not the OEM "wood" appearance is printed via water transfer. You can have a shop bondo and sand the crack and send it off to have it reprinted, and to match you can do all the pieces

It is real wood! The glue they use sucks. Mine is coming off and I need to glue some back on. I was checking out some carbon fiber look vinyl that looks cool. They have red carbon fiber that would match up pretty good.

Maybe I will cover all the wood when I get bored this winter...
