Zippy,
that's why never tell too early.

most people compare the 996 with aerokit such as GT3 look or widebody TT/GT2 to a 997 without any aerokit/wheel. of course if u put a GT3 next to a naked 997 i'll take the GT3 any day. but a naked 997 looks way better than a naked 996

just my opinion...

true. but i think a dressed up 996-c4s/tt looks better than a dressed up 997s/tt because of the lights. even the ruf conversion couldn't enhance the blandness of the 997 lights for me.

Nearly every Porsche car, including original Ruf models, do not hold their value. I've seen CTR2s sell for low 100s. CTRs for under 100. Modern production Porsche and Ruf cars are just not collectors.

Make that 3 of us. There is no way can you get a CTR2 for 100K, unless maybe it has 100K on the odometer. Low mileage sport models fetch well over 200K....

There was a CTR2 for sale in LA just about a year ago. It was discussed on this forum. I recall the asking price was under $150K. Does anyone know what it eventually sold for?

There's also been CTR2s for sale on the Ruf site for about the same amount.

Of course, very low mileage cars, the rare sport model, and a pristine CTR2 offered for sale at a Ruf grand opening will fetch more.

Totally agree; too many little buttons. But, it's just what Bif and Buffy want when they just don't want to drive the Cayenne.

Better an Audi interior than a Porsche interior.

I don't even know why you guys are griping about the interior on the 911. Porsche interiors suck and it's not the reason you buy one.

997 interior > 996 interior

Heck, 997 exterior > 996 exterior
