Didnt they test a Saleen in the Car and Driver Shootout where the Murci ran an 11.7? Or was that a Mosler? I saw the S7 at last years show in Monterey. Nice car. Inmo, a 180K car, not 430K. Also, it does bear great resemblence to the Mosler, that can be had for alot less. if i was looking for a car like this, id just go to Gunnar Racing and have them make me a custom 962 Streetcar.

Also, we'll see how good the Koeniggsegg is when i test drive it in December.

 

There have been many tests of Saleen S7s... but no official tests of their new and improved 2004 model.

 

Allan, you getting one? Which one are you testing the CCR or the CC8S? What is the difference between them price wise?

Seriously tho, IMO I'd rather have Steve Saleen's machine, built with serious reputation behind it and the ability to work on the car myself. Also, the Koenigsegg's parts are a touch in the stratosphere so i've "heard".

Saying that with not much of an argument, it's safe to say one can't go wrong with either choice eh?!?

No, im not getting one. My friend is working on the Koeniggsegg, helping to federalise them. I dont know the difference between the 2 models you posted.

 

Did they just start federalizing... because I know there is a CC8S in Florida... and there has been for a few months.

 

Thats where the headquarters are at, and most likely their test vehicle.

S7 is a monster but I would rather have a koenigsegg i think its a more exotice machine.. but dont get me wrong I would not turn down either!
