To prevent any further pissing contests with my friends, I'm bowing out of this thread. Before I do, I want to make 2 points:

1. I'm truly glad Bryant is getting an EVOMS build. EVOMS has been doing phenomenal work and I would not hesistate for a moment to send my car to them. You never know what the future may hold...

2. Lean is very bad for a motor, regardless if that motor is stock or built.

The EVOMS GT700 kit come with 60lb injectors, fuel line and 5 bar fpr. Was his car with the SG 700 kit missing these fueling parts?

Stock rods will be fine up to 700 whp if the following conditions are met: Fueling (rails, lines, secondary pump...and now people like Todd are going to 83 lb injectors). Proper gas relative to boost levels. Even with the above you should not run more than 1, 1.1 bars max on quality pump (93 here in Texas) gas. You can run up to 1.5 on C 16, 1.4 on unleaded 109. No more, which is related to using common sense. And you should only run higher boost occasionally. I was told by someone with a lot of experience w/ these motors that at over 640 to the wheels you are talking about maybe 40 hours of use.

IMO, it is common sense in people, not the rods that are the weak link.

The owner of EVOMS doesn't have to jump into the other non-EVOMS threads.... his top customers always do it for him

And for the record, like Scott, I think EVOMS is doing amazing things and leading the advancement of this market and Joe's car is the one to beat. I would not hesitate to use EVOMS products (I have used and currently have EVOMS stuff on my car) or have them do a build for me when the time/money is right also. I am waiting for details on their motor build and their exchange program as well.

Whew, I though you were referring to me but since I was the slowest of the big EVOMS builds at the mile I can hardly be considered a "top" customer. I hope to get there someday though. I will admit that Topgun and Joe get on my nerves sometimes as well

Maybe 200... If you guys ever build a car for a guy that actually drives his car, you may want to build the bottom end or send him home with a diaper to keep the messed contained. Honestly I used to share your mind set, but I know for a fact...I NEVER run the car with anything less then MS109 nor do I abuse it and look what happened. 700 plus whp is no place I will ever go again with a stock engine car.

When I started my build 20 years ago, I went with internals before my car ended up at Evoms...It's what I wanted ....If I wanted to be the fastest I would got 35..(top Dog).

It's not an Evoms thing...If you want to run big power you need at least rods, Evoms, Proto, BBI, ETC.....IMO
