Safety Features under 550-600hp tuning.

I am installing A28 turbo/injectors/tune. Anyone familiars with safety features under 550-600hp tuning? If oil pump stops and we loose engine. It is understandable. But what about under these condition:
1. Fuel pump suddenly dead or clogged or flow less than normal.
2. Boost control malfunction. Boost go 1.7 barr on 93 pump.
3.Go to bad gas station and got crappy 89 oct while paid 93oct.
4. etc.
What will happen? Check engine light, safty mode or ka-boom.
(What is the different if these happen under stock ecu?)

I mean under any single condition of above. It is common failure and could happen to anyone. Anyone with experience?

As long as the factory 1.4 BAR boost limiter in the ECU is not removed and you are under ECU boost control you should be fine. The car should close the throttle and back off timing when it sees issues, throw a code and go into limp mode.

But you are pushing the limits and there are no guarantees.

Look at my dyno graph below. The car was seeing knocking and high IATs and pulling timing hard. Once it was dialed in (less aggressive) it made a LOT more power. As is, it needs ICs see how it's pulling timing in "steps"?

Yup, fly by wire throttlebody starts to close up when an overboost is detected. You've also got knock sensing looking after timing although I do NOT like to lean on that ever in any car. If your pump goes away the car will increase injector duty but after a certain point you go lean, probably knock, maybe torch a piston. Best case the pump just dies and there's no fuel - no fuel no run and even if at full chat it ought to simply stop without damage - the RaceLogic traction control cuts fuel like this for traction control.

From what I can tell most of the tuners don't just ***** nilly kill off safeties - that sure wouldn't be in their best interest! I know my boost limit is in place for my throttlebody...
