Basic stuff like window tint and R888s for the 19" wheels. Not sure what, if any performance mods, yet. Still have to drive the car.

That said; I am currently researching possible mod options.

Why are you so worried about price?

You're going to spend $3OK fixing it up anyways. Why spend that much money fixing up a car with 110K miles?

Good luck with your decision!
very well said... i tend to agree..

i would ask "B" to go to 40 even. they're obviously motivated to sell and understand that these cars are depreciating fast. show them a pic of what i purchased for 35k yesterday. of course it needs to be unmolested. everyone on here are afficionados (including me) of the 996tt and what we value is skewed in relationship to the market so i would by careful in dropping 50k for one of these cars unless it's unique somehow (a gt2 etc, modded to what you find absolutely desireable). anyway that said, pick the car that speaks to you viscerally -- picking a car is like picking a girlfriend, not a wife.
