BEN is it here yet?
I went and saw the car for a couple minutes today when it was delivered and it is a great looking car. But over all it is not what I expected it to look like in person, but the GCT is one hell of a car, and the sound it one of a kind.

Somehow, I don't think that Ben's regretting his decision to get the CGT after all.
This is pure happiness personified

Hey guys. Thanks a bunch for all the congrats. I only got to put on about 70 miles today since I had to spend a couple hours at a couple places trying to get the smog certificate passed. The first guys were clueless (and greasy as heck) and gave up after about an hour. I dropped the car off tonight for the clear bra install and hope to have it back soon. If it's not raining (like the last time I took the Stradale up to Crystal Cove from SD), I'm taking the CGT this Saturday. I love giving rides if I can do so without getting hauled to jail - too many on PCH in front of CC may get me arrested :-) Already stopped by my local Pcar dealer (who didn't have an early allocation left when I ordered mine) and took out my sales and service guys. I can't believe those guys sell and service these things and never get to experience em.
The car is absolutely brutally fast and will break loose tires (to put it mildly) from most speeds under say 50! I had very limited time in the twisties today to see if the lateral hop I experienced in Larry's car was his tire pressures or something. The clutch is well...onery. I've stalled it 4 times and counting (once was on a very steep incline though). I "think" I can get used to it. The ride height is a PIA but hopefully Porsche's push rod kit will fix that when they finally release it. Amir was right; this car draws crowds like flys and people were racing up to the back of me all day. The CS is not even close in that respect. I'm really pretty shocked since so many people probably just think it's the new Boxster. A lot of people asked "what is it?" which is not something they ever ask about the CS. I'm really hoping that after some time with the car, I will find complete overlap with the CS so I can ditch it. I'd much rather have one fun car if I can get all needs met with one. My wife and I both agree though, the CS is much more beautiful. I'd hate to hang on to it just for that if I find it starts sitting in the garage all the time while the CGT goes out.
Anyway, I hope this is the beginning of a long love affair (though I haven't even tried yet to get it in my garage which could be a real tough one!). That said, I can't wait to drive it with the top off! It's SO much better that way (remember it from driving Larry's) - even if "cabs r 4 chicks".
Oh yeah, all of you CGT owners check your headlights after driving for a while. They fog up with condensation just like the Cayenne for which there is a TSB on the Cayenne but not the CGT. So, make sure your dealer gets it in the system to make Porsche more intimately aware of it.

Hi Ben,
Congrats. She's beautiful. My headlights fog up as well but I was told that there is going to be a TSB on the head lights shortly.
Enjoy it in the best of health.
